Note: The following test is to determine whether the applicant is of proper size and strength to safely operate Community Transit’s coaches and relief vehicles.. If the applicant cannot pass all elements of the Practical Fit Test for both vehicles, they are disqualified. Items 1-6 must be done while the applicant is in the normal sitting position.

Examiner's Instructions: Assist each candidate to adjust the seat for the most correct fit. The seat must be adjusted to allow for back and full buttocks contact while the candidate performs the tasks. Read the general instructions and the instructions for each task to the candidate. Check “yes” if the candidate is able to perform the tasks and “no” if he/she is not. Explain any "no" answers.

Routed Operators must be tested on buses indicated for each question. ACCESS candidates must be tested on ACCESS buses.

ACCESS examiners: Please make sure engine is turned on for Question 9.
