The Roadeo Steering Committee has decided to include a scored
pre-trip inspection
element, as done at both APTA (on coaches) and CTAA (on
body-on-chassis). The event was demonstrated at last year's State
Roadeo. Scores WILL be used as
part of total points. Copies of pre-trip guidelines from both APTA and
CTAA will be provided to contestants in their registration packets.
Again this year, coach operators will not be required to
perform wheelchair securement; this will remain a requirement for body
on chassis contestants.
